Nestled into the impressive leafy munduk mountains, Munduk Moding Plantation is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle and spend some time listening to bird song and swimming in the luxurious infinity pool.

Coffee drinkers rejoice! Munduk moding Plantation is a huge coffee plantation, book onto the free plantation tour and learn everything you could possibly need to know about the life of a coffee bean, from the ground to your cup.

During your stay, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities each day. We chose the bamboo straw making class, it was a lot of fun and I could have done it all day!

Despite marvelling over the famous infinity pool on Instagram for the last few years, seeing it in real life still took my breath away. When we arrived the view was totally engulfed in clouds, the pool looked like an endless illusion of reflective water. In the morning the clouds had cleared, and the sky filled with colour, bursting over the horizon and illuminating the towering mountains of green.

Having a freshly prepared vegan breakfast whilst looking out over the pool is a memory that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

About Me

Hi! I am Beth Johnstone, a travel journalist and photographer.

I began travelling in 2014 with what I thought would be a short holiday. I’ve now been travelling around the world full time for five years, taking photographs, writing about the places I’ve been and immersing myself in new cultures.

I am passionate about capturing the whole experience not just with images, but with words too. My blog is a positive place where I welcome readers to learn about the best places to stay, along with tips and advice on long term travel.

“Stop waiting for Friday, for summer, for someone to fall in love with you, for life. Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting for it and make the most of the moment you are in now.”
