Phnom Penh is full of overpriced basic hotels however Blue Lime is not one of them. This hotel is a slice of pure tranquility in a bustling city.

With 23 gorgeous minimalist style rooms, some with a private plunge pool, this hotel will enhance your Phnom Penh experience by providing an oasis of calm.

We were lucky enough to stay in one of the private pool rooms, the room itself was clean with a fresh simple design and the pool was so refreshing and so necessary after a busy day of exploring the area. I love how you can open the door and step straight into the pool, honestly this is a luxury that I wish I had every day of my life.

One of our favourite things about this hotel is the complimentary sunset boat tour. We had no idea what to expect when embarking on this tour and it turned out being a lot of fun. The tour guide was so full of knowledge about the area and could answer any questions we had about the city and surroundings. During the sunset cruise we had the chance to stop at the Floatation bar, what a wonderful place to sit and watch the sun descend over the city.

Another thing that I loved about this hotel is how close it is to everything. In just a few moments of walking you’ll be able to choose between so many restaurants and bars, as well as being conveniently close to the National Museum and Royal Palace.
