The Belmond Residence d'Angkor Siem Reap

Looking for a slice of Luxury in Siem Reap? Look no further. Here are my personally tried and tested, recommendations for this gorgeous Cambodian city. Here are 3 of the best luxury hotels in Siem Reap.

Heritage Suites Hotel

If you can’t get enough of beautiful architecture and fine dining then this is the place for you. The moment I walked into this hotel I was so impressed with the amazing welcome we had, the staff were kind, friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area.

One of the things I love about this hotel is how hard they are working to protect the environment. The natural bathroom products are in large refillable bottles, none of those annoying small single-use plastic bottles here! The soap is cut from a larger block to avoid plastic wrap and the drinking water is in refillable glass bottles.

Heritage Suits Hotel is one of the top fine dining restaurants in Siem Reap. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel the restaurant will welcome you warmly. The menu is a new, exciting fusion of sophisticated European classic food and some of the most unique local dishes. The vegan options are delicious.

The rooms are spacious with an open plan bathroom featuring a large freestanding bathtub and a steam room. I love the design of the rooms in this hotel, they are luxuriously comfortable with a minimalist twist.

Another thing I love about this hotel is the serene pool area. It’s the perfect place to relax on a sunbed, drink a cocktail or cool off in the glistening water.

Last but not least, The Heritage Suites Hotel are the proud owners of their very own fleet of vintage Mercedes Benz. Seeing the sunrise and exploring the surrounding temples in the Mercedes is something I’ll never forget.
Thank you Heritage Suits Hotel for a very memorable stay in Siem Reap.

Belmond Résidence d’Angkor

My mind has officially been blown. This hotel is beyond perfection. When we arrived at the Résidence d’Angkor I was so captivated by the small details that had gone into creating this place. From the art on the walls to the flowers and warmth of the staff, everything was spot on. This is defiantly one of the best luxury hotels in Siem Reap.

This luxury 5-star hotel is conveniently located on the river just moments away from the buzz of Siem Reap, just a short walk from quirky bars, restaurants and majestic ancient temples.

The rooms are thoughtfully designed. This bed is the biggest and most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, a good night’s sleep is guaranteed here in this luxurious yet homely suite.I can’t fault this room, it’s both stylish and comfortable.

The Belmond Résidence d’Angkor has so many hidden surprises located all over the hotel. My personal favorite is the Boules area. We got a little carried away and ended up having far too much fun and far too many games. If you’re feeling adventurous you can spend some time marveling over the resort’s very own beehive.

One of the most striking things about this hotel is the saltwater pool. The pool is surrounded by lush greenery. The perfect place to grab a drink or an ice cream and enjoy the spectacular Cambodian sun.

Let’s talk about food, one of my favorite things to talk about and one of the main reasons I love to travel. The moment we stepped into the breakfast area on our first morning we were so delighted at the vast amounts of vegan options, they even had the choice of soy milk, vegan spreads, fruit, and cooked foods.

There are options for literally everybody
Whilst learning about this beautiful hotel we were lucky enough to speak with the chef, his knowledge about the history of the hotel, the food and culture of the country were outstanding. No wonder The Belmond Résidence d’Angkor produces such incredible delicacies.

Jungloo Siem Reap

The Jungloo In Siem Reap is located right next to Templation. As well as your very own Jungloo private pool, you also get full use of the Templation facilities including the large pool, lounging areas, and the grand dining area.

Waking up here at Jungloo is very special, here’s why: Breakfast is delivered directly to your private pool. We had fruit platters, vegetable rice and fresh juice which delivered in a beautiful basket with a lid keeping it safe from flies.

They have thought of every detail.
This hotel is by far the most vegan-friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed at. If you know me, you’ll know that I’m ridiculously passionate about food. Whether you’re vegan or not, the vegan burger is incredible. Everything about it was perfect.

The room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a mini-fridge, a safety box, insect repellent and all of the toiletries you’ll need. I was so impressed by the attention to detail.

Most importantly Jungloo is located conveniently close to Angkor Wat and it’s surrounding temples.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my top 3 Luxury hotels in Siem Reap and I wish you a relaxing and exciting adventure.
